Functional and cosmetic changes
Aim - To create fast loading, easy to navigate, simple but personalized design.
Changes - We increased font size and colour, changed to less glaring background. Added rollover effect to navigation, now on right hand side of page.
2012 Direction
We created cartoon design to highlight informality.
We describe health items from information available online. Details may have changed, or deemed inaccurate.
We use discrete 3rd party content/text based ads which may, or may not display products described on page.
Gradual Updates
We're in editing mode (probably all year). Out goes the straining blue template design, replaced by a hopefully more readable, laid back style.
We aim to provide a useful online resource in a laid back style.
We removed the "conspiracy theory" section from side bar.
CCSVImedication.com is not an activist group or CCSVI movement, we're a collection of thoughts, emotions, and general information, some relating to vascular health and healthcare in general.
Our Brand of Website
Our brand is our journey, our stress free way of reciting, confusing information, as seen through our eyes.
You brand is your opinion and how you express it. If others speak for you it's their brand.
We're not web designers, artists, seo's or content writers. It's more of a UK tag team effort.
Initially, designed for CCSVI information we stepped back. An inside view of healthcare surprised many of us for various reasons, so we needed a more productive focus.
The website is our jigsaw puzzle. We have no real direction at moment other than moving forward. Links and mentions to our site are always welcome, referrals and visitors are highly treasured.
Each time W3C coding validates we claim another accomplishment nearer to that final goal. We might not be welcome advocates of CCSVI but we are proud advocates of web standards.
It's been a long hard road for all of us. Everyone has done their fair share, be it write article, or post a mention on another website.
We don't time breaks, some took a year out (only in 2nd year). We have coolest members in Scotland and probably British Isles.
If you feel highly charged, you can always contact websites on our linking list or further afield. It's for a good cause, ours.
